About Me
This website was a small labor of love and a window into the world of table-less web design. I had always wanted to create a website with an organic and natural feel since so many sites just look techy and dull, so I figured I might as well experiment with my own site. To me, the look and feel of a site is as, if not more, important as the functionality, although I'm sure many people would argue the opposite.
Drawing and design have always been a part of my life. I have always liked sketching and building things and have always been very hands-on with my work. Web design and programming became a hobby of mine when I was in High School and turned into a small business and eventually my career. I obtained a B.S. in Computer Science at SDSU and learned the power of programming languages, but it wasn't until after college that I realized how art and programming need to coexist to create truly engrossing applications.
Currently, I work as a Web Developer for Arrowhead Insurance and enjoy the challenge of designing and maintaing a large application that is used by many people. Besides my full time job as a Web Developer, I also have my own personal web design and consulting business eMarket Reach. Life is all about doing what you enjoy and I’m lucky that I’ve always been fascinated with mathematics, engineering and art and have guided my career in order to stay close to these fields.
Though my work is the pride of my life, it's not my entire life. I enjoy all sorts of outdoor activities (yes, programmers do sometimes see the light of day), relaxing at the beach, hanging out with friends, going to The Rock Church, and keeping up with an active lifestyle that includes volleyball, golf and swimming. My family and wife are a huge part of my life even though my family lives in Northern California while I am currently in San Diego. We make a point to visit each other at least a few times a year and stay in close touch.

Thank you for taking the time to learn a little bit about me,
